Arts in Garland

The arts in Garland have flourished since 1982, with attendance averaging over 200,000 patrons each year. Through the multitude of culturally diverse organizations who perform at the Granville Arts Center facilities, the City of Garland brings rich and diverse fine arts experiences that attract patrons throughout North Texas.

The Granville Arts Center and the Plaza Theatre have been key ingredients to the economic development of downtown and have proved to be a dynamic force in enhancing the quality of life for Garland citizens today and in the future.


Hours of Operation

All Granville Arts Center venues are available for rental seven days a week. Offices are closed on all city holidays, which include:

  • New Years
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and the Friday after
  • Christmas and the working day before or after

Parking

The Granville Arts Center has parking available in adjacent lots and two parking garages located at 5th Street Crossing and Austin Street, behind City Hall. All parking is free and open to the public.
